Patent number 2333088 which would put the patent number around the end of 1943.
Mfg'd by Brown Co., N News,VA.
On the back is 55 and Made in U.S.A. from the factory. All of the numbers and letters are readable.
Some paint dribbles on back from painting around. Can be removed easily, but this is how it came off the wall form how many centuries?
It looks like instead of rejecting the opener at the plant, time was took to apply a small weld to correct the blemish.
